Brand bargain in a fake shop, prepayment only

A shop advertises 60–80 % off branded goods. In the last checkout step PayPal and card suddenly disappear and only a bank transfer to a foreign account is left. The goods never arrive and the shop goes offline within weeks. Warning signs: Bank transfer is the only method that works at the end; IBAN from a different country than the shop; Imprint with no real company or copied from elsewhere; Domain only a few weeks old. What to do: Call your bank immediately and request a SEPA recall, then file a police report. Typical loss: 50–800 €.
